Keyana Harris, LM, CPM
Hi, I’m Keyana, the heart behind Beautifully Created Birth Services—a place where faith, holistic living, and expert birth support come together to serve mothers and families.
I am a Licensed Midwife (LM), Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Certified Labor & Postpartum Doula, Lactation Counselor, and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist —but above all, I am a woman of faith, a wife, a mother, and a passionate advocate for safe and informed birth experiences. With nearly a decade of experience in birth work, I have had the honor of attending over 100 births and supporting hundreds of families through pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding. My expertise spans home birth, birth center, and hospital settings, giving me a well-rounded understanding of different birth environments.
My journey into birth work began with a desire to serve women through compassionate, holistic maternal care. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Humanities with a focus in pre-medicine from Baylor University, originally setting my sights on becoming an obstetrician specializing in high-risk pregnancies. However, as I immersed myself in maternal health and the vibrant birthing community, I felt a powerful calling from God—one that led me away from the traditional medical path and toward a more intimate, hands-on role in birth work. Becoming a doula and midwife has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, aligning perfectly with my passions, values, and purpose.
More Than Just Birth Work
While midwifery and birth support are my calling, my life is deeply rooted in faith, family, and holistic living. As a Christian woman, I am passionate about living intentionally and honoring the body as God designed it to thrive. I embrace holistic wellness, natural healing, and plant-based nutrition, incorporating these principles into my personal life. I also enjoy homemaking, homeschooling, and creating a peaceful, nourishing environment for my family.
When I’m not attending births or mentoring doulas, you can find me spending quality time with my husband and children, traveling to new places, and cherishing moments with family and friends. I love a good balance of adventure and stillness—whether exploring the world or simply relaxing at home, soaking in the beauty of everyday life.
